The Antwerp Giants won the first game of the title series in the BNXT League. Former champion Oostende had to swallow a heavy 100-83 defeat in the Lotto Arena. The Giants went into the break with a 7-point lead, but took it to the next level in the second half, with a 16-0 run. Rasheed Bello has been the man for the Antwerp Giants throughout the playoffs. In the final, Bello continued his momentum and led his team to victory with 25 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists. The game was not a fierce battle under the rim. Both teams scored efficiently, with less than 30 rebounds each. The error rate was also very low, with 8 free throws (3 made) for the Giants and 6 free throws for Oostende. In 2023 and 2024, the Giants and Oostende have already faced each other in the final. Three years ago, Antwerp also enjoyed the home advantage. They won the first game, but Oostende came back and won the next three games. Will we see the same scenario this year?
