Royal Antwerp FC strengthens itself with Carlos Daniel Mejia and Luis Narh for the price of one. The Ecuadorian winger and the Ghanaian striker come from NK Kustošija and Diamond Seed Sporting Club respectively. Mejia trained at Independiente del Valle in Ecuador, the club where also Anthony Valencia and Willian Pacho were trained. He signs a four-year contract at the Bosuil. Narh signs a four-year contract with an option at the Bosuil. The coming weeks the club will further strengthen to perform better in the Jupiler Pro League. Under trainer Joseph Oosting it went particularly bad, especially towards the end of the season. The club is looking for a new trainer, but will also be active on the summer transfer market. Better than an eleventh place must be the number one goal. There will probably be a lot of strengthening in the coming weeks, but the first two young players already do a number of good things. Last season Mejia played 30 times for the Croatian club in the third Croatian league, of which 23 times as a starter. He was good for one goal and seems ready for a step up, although the Belgian first division is quite tough.
