Joseph Oosting is the top candidate to replace Melvin Boel at Go Ahead Eagles, according to De Telegraaf. Oosting was sacked by Antwerp in mid-May. The 54-year-old coach is currently without a club after his departure from Royal Antwerp. Oosting was also sacked by FC Twente in September. He then spent several months at home before joining Antwerp. His Belgian adventure lasted only 26 matches, as the Great Old sacked him about two weeks ago. Now, a quick return to the Eredivisie is on the horizon. Oosting has already had a first meeting with Go Ahead, according to De Telegraaf. The coach has the same management as Marc van Hintum, the technical director of Kowet, which could make the transfer easier. Boel was active at Go Ahead since last summer. The club took him over from FC Dordrecht, where he made a good impression. Boel finished with the Deventenaren in 12th place in the Eredivisie and earned seven points in the Europa League. Boel achieved all his goals, but came to the conclusion with Kowet that a separation for all parties was the best option.
