Antwerp is close to signing Japanese dribbling sensation Koki Ando (18), who made the move from RKU Kashiwa High School to Mito HollyHock at the beginning of the year. Since the end of April, Ando has been getting his chances and in his first two appearances, he has already scored two impressive dribbling goals from the left flank. He was therefore chosen as Young Player of the Month. His contract runs until 2029, but at Antwerp, they have already been working on his arrival and a deal is therefore pending. He would be the third Japanese player in the Antwerp squad after Nozawa and Tsunashima. Also the third summer signing, after the Ecuadorians David Fricio Caicedo (central defender) and Carlos Daniel Meija (winger). Work is also being done on the transfer of the Ecuadorian striker Snayder Porozo. With Luis Narh (18), Antwerp also brings another foreign talent to the club. The strong Ghanaian striker is taken from the local Diamond Seed Sporting Club and signs a four-year contract with an option to extend to the Bosuil. Together with focusing on their own youth, it is the way for Antwerp to try to create added value and become financially healthy.
